ABT makes the Audi S8 even faster
The new Audi S8, we haven’t drove it yet. The reviews of other journalists are quite positive. It is lighter, more powerful and faster. The exterior of the new A8 generation is new, we have to get used to it. But what ABT does to the most powerful A8 doesn’t help us to get used to it.
Whoever hears the name AS8 knows that ABT is involved in it. The newest S8 is now tuned by this company and the performance is quite impressive. The four liters V8 already produces 520 bhp and 650 Nm of torque. ABT upgraded this to 620 bhp and 780 Nm of torque. This is a performance for a supercar but the S8 weighs a bit too much. Though the V8 still is quite fast. In only thirteen seconds you will reach 200 km/h. Of course you don’t want to have a top speed limited to 250 km/h so ABT limited the top speed of the car at 290 km/h. Further, ABT only placed their sporty wheels under the car and this makes it a real wolf in sheep’s clothing.
