Last week a visitor of Autogespot picked up his new McLaren 675 LT at McLaren in Böblingen, Germany. What happens when you share this event on social media? A lot of car spotters show up and the owner took all of them for a ride in his new car.
More and more owners of sports cars find their way to social media. Especially Instagram is very popular. It's fun to show you toys and share your passion for cars. A famous visitor of Autogespot, Robert Mitchell, is also active on Instagram and he shares his adventures with his cars. His garage is filled with an Audi R8 V10, Ferrari FF and a beautifully, by MSO composed, McLaren 675LT.
McLaren did a great job with the LongTail. The suspension is completely new and they also improved the aerodynamics. Thanks to the bigger and active spoilers the downforce of the 675 LT is increased with 40 percent compared with the 650S Coupé. This makes the 675 LT the top of the range model in McLaren's Super Series. At the back we see an active rear spoiler which also improves the aerodynamics. Next to that, this spoiler also functions as the unique Longtail airbrake. Next to improved technology, the 675 LT also lost 100 kilograms of weight thanks to the use of more lightweight materials.
The power of the McLaren 675 LT is, just like the name says, 675 hp. Thanks to the light weight the 675 LT has a very impressive performance. The top speed is 330 kph and the sprint to 200 kph takes only 7.9 seconds.
