Good news for those who like the Bentley EXP 9F Concept car. We already told you that the decision about this car would be made very soon. Volkswagen AG now made that decision, the Bentley SUV is a go!
The German Handelsblatt came up with this news via sources at Volkswagen AG. It’s remarkable that the SUV will be produced after a lot of negative reactions in Geneva, last year. Apparently, still a lot of customers like the ultra luxurious SUV. Especially the BRIC-lands get a lot of attention by Bentley. These countries are Brazil, Russia, India and China. Especially China and Russia have a big demand for a luxurious SUV. Next to that, Bentley probably expects other SUVs like the Maserati Levante. Bentley still says they won’t produce the SUV but it looks like it’ll only be a matter of time before Bentley will confirm the SUV.
On the insides, Bentley gave the SUV the name Falcon. The development of a production version will start very soon so we can expect this car to be ready in three years. They will use a V8 for the drive and the price will start around 200,000 Euros. The biggest part of the car will be fabricated in a Volkswagen factory in Slovakia while the finishing will be done in Crewe, England. We expect more news about this SUV by Bentley during the Geneva Motor Show.
