The production of the BMW M3 CRT and GTS might have been stopped. There are still companies who love to tune these older models. G-Power now comes up with an upgrade for these models and they introduced it last week. Both cars are powered by a V8 and get an ASA compressor. Both cars produce a similar amount of horsepower.
BMW built only 150 copies of the GTS and only 67 of the CRT. CRT stands for Carbon Racing Technology and this version was introduced at the M-Festival in Nürburg in 2011. Standard, the V8 in the M3 produces 450 hp. Due to adding a compressor this power is boosted to 650 hp and a similar torque, 650 Nm. The total upgrade costs 23.500 Euros and this makes the M3s sprint to 100 kph in 4.1 seconds and give them a top speed of 321 kph. Will this be the last tuning version of this M3? Or can we still expect versions by other tuners?
