Chinese pays a lot of money for a Ferrari Challenge Stradale

The market for Ferraris in China is still quite new and keeps on growing. Spotters in China will spot a lot of new Ferraris but the older models will be quite rare. CarNewsChina managed to spot a very rare Challenge Stradale, a car which wasn't officially available in China.

Ferraris are very hot in China at this moment. In the first half year of 2014, up to 285 copies were sold in China, including a few LaFerraris. Most of the Chinese want to have something brand new and only a few are interested in the older models. So is the Chinese owner of this Challenge Stradale. This copy is imported and that's quite a challenge without the right connections. Next to that, the Challenge Stradale is a Ferrari of which the value keeps on increasing. The car is more hardcore than than most of the other track orientated Ferraris. The owner probably paid a lot of money to get this car to China.

The Challenge Stradale is much more fun than a modern Ferrari. The car weighs less and is faster than the 360 Modena and especially more sensational. The supercar lost 110 kilograms of weight, is 20 percent stiffer and is more powerful. Ferrari did everything to make history with this model. They definitely succeeded because the value of this car keeps on growing.
