Combo: three generations of supercars by Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz is building supercars for years already. That's not new anymore. Three of these supercars can be seen on the photos of the following spot by Fabian Baege. It shows us the timeless beauty of the SLR McLaren and the SLS AMG. The AMG GT S still has to reach this status but in a few years we will know if this car will be just as iconic as its older brothers. One thing's missing on this model and that are the special and characterizing doors we know from the SLR McLaren and SLS AMG.

When we take a closer look at the looks of the car we see a lot of similarities. The flanks of the car look a like and the taillights also look quite the same. When we look at the power of the cars, the SLR will still be the most powerful but not the fastest. The sprint from zero to 100 kph takes 3.8 seconds while the SLS AMG, with 571 hp, also needs 3.8 seconds. The era of turbo powered engines shows us that torque is the most important for a supercar because the AMG GT, producing 'only' 510 hp, also needs 3.8 seconds for this sprint. The SLR McLaren does have the highest top speed. The car can reach a stunning 350 kph thanks to the V8 with kompressor. The SLS AMG and AMG GT have a top speed of 317 and 310 kph.
