Completely bonkers: The Mercedes A 45 AMG!

355 bhp, from just a 2.0 liters four cylinder engine. Mercedes-Benz says this is going to be the amount of the power the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is getting from their own tuner AMG. We already knew Mercedes-Benz would make an AMG model of their new A-class, and we already know its performance. The name is probably chosen because of the 45-year jubilee of AMG, and it's really going to be a wild one.
With its two turbo’s, the A45 AMG will go from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.9 seconds, which means he can keep up with many sportscars and even some supercars. It would be even nicer if this would be 4.5 seconds, another reference to their jubilee. The gearbox will be a 7-speed with double clutch. The goal of Mercedes-Benz was to make a rival for the Audi RS3, we think they’ve managed!
