Deadmau5' cars: from Blackjack to Nyan Cat

Joel Zimmerman, better known as Deadmau5, the Canadian producer and DJ who acts with an enormous helmet with mice ears has a garage full of 'toys', as he loves to call them himself. His collection of supercars is quite popular thanks to the special designs of his cars. Meet the “Team Blackjack” and the “Purrari”.

Team Blackjack

Deadmau5 can't bemissed in the Gumball 3000 rally and meanwhile he participated twice. This year he brought his McLaren 650S and P1. He wrapped both cars and gave them the name 'Queen of Hearts' and 'Ace of Spades'. The cars wrapped in hearts and spades are both part of 'Team Blackjack'. You won't be surprised when we tell you that the DJ himself loves to gamble and that he loves to play blackjack. In 2013 he had a Las Vegas residency where he spent just as much time at the blackjack table as in the clubs. Last year, Deadmau5 won the Spirit of the Gumball Award together with Tony Belleci in another car, the 'Purrari'.

The Purrari

The Purrari is definitely the most eyecatching design ever. Deadmau5 decided to wrap his Ferrari in the theme of Nyan Cat. The YouTube cat can be found on the side of his Ferrari 458 Spider followed by the typical rainbow. All Ferrari logos, including the floor mats are replaced by 'Purrari' logos. Deadmau5' fans really appreciated the car but Ferrari didn't like it. The manufacturer sent him an desist with the order to remove all the adjusted logos. Meanwhile, the Ferrari 458 Spider is back to its original colour and the logos are also normal again. The supercar is sold in the mean time but Nissan came up with a great sequel with the Nyan Cat GT-R.
