Every now and then golden cars are uploaded on Autogespot. Mostly it is just a golden color and not real gold. This Porsche 996 Turbo Convertible has a true gold finish. About 20 kg of gold is added to this Porsche. A gram of gold will set you back about 30 euros, so this little project will set the owner back about 600.000 euro, and than he has to glue it on himself.




All this gold can be removed from the car. So if the owner gets sick of his car he can melt down all the gold and make it into a nice bracelet. But maybe this is just an investment, if the price of gold will rise the owner might make some money out of it.
The owner also added a nice motive to all the gold on his car. Just to make it look extra special.




A pretty bizar combination, a true golden Porsche 996. Chrome you can often find on a car, but real gold is really bizar. The car probably has to be guarded all the time, it would be a small disaster when you get to your car and all your gold is gone. Just try to explain that to the police...
