Gemballa Avalanche GTR800 Evo R

We all appreciate the Porsche 997 Turbo very much for its performance. But if you want a little bit more than an any average Porsche, you might want to visit one of the German tuning companies like RUF, 9ff, Gemballa or Techart. This Porsche made a journey to the people at Uwe Gemballa Design for a complete makeover called: GTR 800 EVO-R.

"Guten Tag und wilkommmen bei Gemballa!" Or in English, "hello and welcome to Gemballa." This is probably the first thing you hear when you bring your car for an upgrade. The exterior gets a full makeover, it's almost starting to look like a Carrera GT just look at those head lights! Where is the 911 you might think? Well, it's still there, just nicely modified. Not only the head lights have changed, check out the new front spoiler, rear bumper and a giant dual-wing carbon spoiler. But there is more! Not only the exterior has changed. The engine got an upgrade to 850 bhp and 935 Nm torque. Ofcourse this massive amount of horsepower doesn't fall from the sky. The standard turbochargers have been replaced by two modified Garret T035 turbochargers. These turbochargers and other adjustments increased the engine capacity to 3.8 liters.

Gemballa gave the car some big 19 inch Yokohama AVS Sport tyres to get some more grip on the road. To fit the wheels, some adjustments had to be made near the axles. The GTR 800 has been equipped with some H&R coilovers as well. Once again a very sick and fast car from Gemballa, hopefully someone will snap it!
