The GT-R Spec-V is a slightly modified version of the normal GT-R. Due to the fact that a lot of lightweight materials are used, the Spec-V is lighter and the car also produces more power. The extra power is gained by fine tuning the ECU and improving the exhaust system, the pressure delivered by the turbo’s is also enlarged. The car should still go fast around corners and of course stop properly. This is why Spec-V gets bigger brakes and a new set of bumpers. Rumours go that the Spec-V could go round the Ring in just 7 minutes and 25 seconds, the normal GTR does it in 7 minutes and 29 seconds.




More rumours, we’ve heard that all the specifications and details will be revealed at the Paris autoshow in August. In December the GT-R Spec-V can be found in the showroom of the Nissan dealer.
