In the United Kingdom there was a happy employee who was allowed to take a ride in the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano of his boss. After only a few kilometres his good mood suddenly changed rapidly. When Martin was waiting at the traffic lights he saw smoke coming from under the bonnet of the Ferrari. And after a few seconds is wasn’t just smoke anymore, but flames. The car of his boss was on fire. So then what do you tell him? “Your car’s just gone up in flames” is what Martin said, and at first his boss thought he was joking. But a moment later he understood that his car was really on fire.
This is not the first time that a 599 has gone up in flames. About a
year ago there was already another 599 that started to burn with no clear cause. Maybe there is a minor error in the Ferrari, or maybe it's just coincidence. We can presume that Ferrari knows about this an -if needed- will make some adjustments to the car. We hope this won't occur again.
