People from the Middle East are crazy, this fact is wide spread. They tend to do the strangest things with cars, for example ordering a matte black LP640 with a pink interior or a bright green Veyron. The cars often got glass in which you can see yourself, and therefor comb your hairs. A thing you won’t see very often is a car that just looks like a mirror.  

Top Gear, everyone has seen an episode of this popular automotive tv programme, most of us have seem them all. The English people are right now very busy with the preparations of the 11th season. And again it promises to be a nice one. For instance the new Audi RS6, new Evo X and CLK Black Series will be tested. Or what about the Mazda Furai that was spotted recently.  

A while ago the body of Hugo Claus was transported in a wonderful Phantom VI Hearse, but also newer Rolls-Royces can be build to some interesting creations. You can spot a pink Silver Spirit ‘Val d’Isere’ stationcar in the Benelux, this car isn’t for a funeral centre, just a car build for the Sultan of Burnei. Just recently we’ve found some pictures of an other family car, nice to take on a holiday.  

A car that brakes down is never fun, but most of the time it doesn’t have any serious consequences. But it’s a little different when it leads to some flames. In this case you could literally talk about a “hotwheel” version.  

The Porsche Carrera GT is a beautiful car, but it often appears in somewhat dull colors. We are done with the grey colors, and that’s why we thought this one is so peculiar. There’s a Carrera GT for sale in Omaha that is not grey or black, but “Gulf Blue”!

Lately we see that tuners go way to far! On the Dutch frontpage we’ve already showed you that Mansory sometimes can cross the line of good taste. This isn’t the only tuner which crosses this line, FAB Design can also produce horrible cars. They have transformed an elegant looking German car into a PIMP mobile.  

A while ago most carsites had a story about the first spotted Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang. Now it’s clear that it was just a fake, the car isn’t a Pur Sang after all. Tuner Mansory tuned this car to the wishes of a wealthy dude from Dubai. Some inhabitants of Dubai stated that this car isn’t the real deal.  

Special licence plates are hot these days. People pay rediculous prices on auctions for certain license plates. A businessman from Abu Dhabi has paid a massive amount of cash for his new licence plate. He offered no less than 52.2 million Dirhams, this is about 14.5 million USD.  

956,000 matches. That's what you need to create a full-scale model of a Mercedes F1-car. And a lot of time, this guy did it in six years, using 1686 tubes of glue! Surely, he must be unemployed or something, but who cares? The result surely is worth it! It did cost him €6,000 though.  

Sometimes you come across some cars of which you just can't tell if it's real or whether it's done with Photoshop, as it is the case with the following picture. This red Lamborghini Reventón appeared on our forum and created lots of doubt amongst us. As a millionaire, you can put quite an amount of money on the table, of course, to get a special colour on your Reventón. The standard colour is Marrone Apus, so the Lambo has got to be resprayed if it's a real one. Actually, the original Revontón-colour is also available on the Gallardo via the Ad Personam-program. Is this Photoshop or are we dealing with a millionaire who is as mad as a hatter? Help us to find the source!  

All of you probably know that Arabs like to drive around in unique cars. They drive around in the strangest creations. Ferrari’s are changed in to staioncars. The Maserati Quattroporte has been changed into a one of a kind shooting brake version. Ofcourse this car will be bought by a wealthy Arab.  

After the snow-drifting adventure of a Porsche GT3 RS, now there’s a chance to take your Lamborghini to the snowy track! Our bull loving Italian friends have given some Gallardo owners a snowdriving skills course (European Winter Academy) in Auronzo di Cadore, Cortina d’Ampezzo. Here, the guys at Lamborghini gave the Gallardo owners the chance to experience how the Gallardo handled with all its power on ice. This occurred in January.  

License plates are something to stand out from the crowd and personalise your car with. In Dubai, some people are crazy enough to pay millions for plates with just one number. In England, the opportunity also exists to buy special license plates. One of the most special license plates in England, being ‘F1’, has lately been auctioned for $740,000. And that amount of money was paid by well-known tuner Kahn.  

As you might have noticed, today is SALE-day! And now, a quite well-known car is for sale: the Porsche Carrera GT with straight pipes, from California. This black-on-black Carrera GT is for sale at Caesar’s Palace. Did the owner finally get bored of the sound? Or will he get another, even more extreme car? Because the normal exhaust-pipes of this Carrera GT have been replaced with straight pipes (which means it has no silencers), this car blows out a terrorizing noise!  

Here in the Netherlands, an Audi R8 will cost you almost €150,000.-, and with some nice options, it’ll quickly approach €200,000.-. Thanks to our government, that price is well above the price of an R8 in other European countries. However, in America, there is an R8 that costs even more, one American guy paid $425,000.- for it! And since America isn’t really that known for its high taxes, this R8 should be very special!  

A while ago someone from Belgium lost his licence due to speeding his brand new Ferrari 430 Scuderia. As you could have read on de Dutch frontpage. And again someone driving a supercar got a ticket. In England an owner of a Bugatti Veyron got a ticket because he didn’t park his car properly. It looked like a superstar was getting a parkingticket. The fine was only 60 pounds, peanuts for the owner of this Bugatti.
