There was in fact an official press release on this newest descendant of the Lamborghini family. There have been speculations for a long time now, regarding this model, but now it has finally been revealed. Although not on the show itself, but we do have the first pictures!

The news about a successor of the Porsche 928 is not so new. Porsche hopes to introduce this future GT into their gamma, to compete with cars like the Aston Martin DB9 and even the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. This new model will be based on the Porsche Panamera. Right now, we have hot news in the form of a rendering by photshopper Kross. This is how he thinks the 928’s successor will look like.  

Last Saturday, a lethal accident has taken place in London. A while ago, we had a story about an accident involving a Lamborghini LP670-4 SV (Dutch article), and now a Lotus Exige S2 was totaled. Under the watchful eye of a policeman, the Lotus Exige spinned out of control and flipped over. Sadly, the driver doesn’t live to tell the story.  

Last year, coachbuilding company Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera brought a unique Maserati on the market. The Bellagio Fastback is a beautiful station wagon based on the Maserati Quattroporte. This year in Geneva they will show a new creation made by this company, based in Milan. But that is not what it’s about. On the website of the company they have a few renderings of what the Bellagio, which is limited to 25 copies, might look like.  

Juan Carlos I, the King of Spain is a big car enthusiast. With the 71 cars he possesses, he could be called a great car owner without a doubt. He can now add a Audi RS6 Sedan to that enormous amount, next to a 1959 Rolls Royce Phantom IV and a Maybach.  

Hot news from Tesla Motors. Elon Musk’s team has reached an enormous milestone in the history of driving electrically. On the North American Internation Auto Show, Tesla Motors is showing their thousandth car. Car number thousand was exhibitioned until the 24th of January in Detroit and is painted in a special colour called Millennial White, especially for this occasion. The Roadster Sport by Tesla Motors is for sale at a price of 175.000 dollar. It sounds like a lot, but actually nothing of it will go to the manufacturer!  

People in the Netherlands could have watched the national fund-raise for Haiti on the 21st of January 2010. With a grand total of 83,4 million euro’s, the Netherlands contributes in the help for the country, which was struck by an earthquake. During the show, numbers ranging from tens of euro’s to hundred thousands of euro’s came by. Everyone wants to help. Also General Motors is helping by auctioning a limited-edition Corvette C6 Z06 for charity.  

Wald International seems to in another direction with the tuning packages that they offer. Yesterday we had the example of how the Porsche Panamera looks from their point of view. Now, Mercedez-Benz’ S-Class will get a new body kit as well within a short time.  

Wald International has found a new brand where they can let their creativity go wild. The Porsche Panamera is, after the many Bentleys and Mercedes-Benzes, the next project which they started. The first computer sketch shows how the highly popular Porsche Panamera will look from their point of view.  

A little scoop for us. BMW is showing the new BMW 5 series at the Brussels motorshow in Belgium at a little secret place. You can only acces this area with an invitation and no cameras are allowed. It is strictly forbidden to take pictures. But someone managed to take two shots with his mobile phone. And according to us these are the first live shots of the new BMW 5 series.  

While Lamborghini is working on the successor (Dutch article) of the Murciélago, the neighbors at Pagani aren’t sitting still. They are working hard on the successor of the Zonda which will be introduced at the end of this year, around fall. Horacio Pagani gave some new details about this long expected supercar in an interview.  

After the recently published spyshots of the Continental Supersports Convertible, there is no doubt about the verity of the rumors, concerning this new topless supersporter from the luxurious brand Bentley. Still, it will take a lot of time before the official pictures will be released. Until then, an impression shows us well what this four-seat convertible will look like.  

You might recognize that bright orange BMW M3 with an immense spoiler on the back. Exactly, you won’t forget the BMW M3 GTS that quickly, it’s a real piece of art by BMW. Sadly, there won’t be many examples on the road because it’s a limited edition model. The "BMW M3 in racing overall" will only be sold to people with quite an impressive BMW resume. If you “only” own a BMW 5 series Touring you can forget about that bright orange Beemer.  

Aston Martin's new supercar, the One-77, will be delivered to customers mid 2010. Aston Martin is busy putting the car through its final tests. Recently they went to a circuit in Southern Europe to do some high speed tests. The One-77 achieved a top speed higher than any Aston Martin before did, to be exact 354 kilometers per hour.  

Not so long ago, Dodge announced that 2010 will be the last production year of the Viper SRT-10. Obviously very sad and all, but until then, we were spoiled with special editions of this two-seater. The latest of them is the Viper SRT-10 ACR-X. A stripped version of the regular SRT-10 ACR, for track use only.  

For a while now, Ferrari has a unique program with which it is possible to customize your very own Ferrari as much as you would like. What could be better than driving around in a Ferrari that you have composed yourself and is therefore a one-off, only one exists in the entire world. It is an exclusive program where the owner is able to build an one-off Ferrari with the help of no less than Michael Schumacher, other designers and a couple of important people from the Ferrari-headquarters. Until now, we have only seen two personalized Ferrari’s on the internet. Now, Ferrari has created a new one-off model and they're showing it to the world. We are talking about the Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta one-off.  

The folks at Dartz are really working their way up in the automotive industry. They're already making some of the best armored cars in the world but their Prombron ex.RussoBaltique Monaco Edition is going to be the cherry on top of a wedding cake. We're getting right to it: the interior is covered with leather made from a whale's penis. Unfortunately they're not really going to use that kind of material due to heavy protesting from animal humane societies. Luckily there are a few other aspects that make this car so unique.
