Aston confirms Vantage RS and DBS Roadster towards Autovisie

A while ago the Aston Martin AMV8 N24 was spotted, today we’ll provide you with some more news about this British car manufacturer. In an interview with Autovisie Magazine, Aston Martin confirms that they are going to build the fastest Aston Martin ever. This car will be called the Vantage RS, production will probably start in 2009. If you want one, be fast because this model will be a limited edition.

The basis used for the RS is the AMV8. Almost everything has been changed from the original car. A massive 6.0 litre V12 produces 600 bhp and 690 Nm of torque. Unbelievable this fits in the baby Aston. A sprint to 100 km/h will be over in four seconds or less, rumours state the topspeed will be over 320 km/h. The car will weigh 1600 kilo, quite a lot, but if Aston Martin didn't use the amount of carbon fibre as they already did, the weight would be much higher. The exterior has also changed, Aston Martin added a fat ass bodykit, diffuser and a pop up spoiler for the much needed down force at high speeds. Start the production as soon as possible!

But there is more, Aston Martin also confirmed the DBS Roadster. We can find the DBS Roadster in the summer of 2009. The new James Bond car will produce 512 bhp, this must be enough to mess up your hearing. We can’t wait untill we see the new Aston Martin models.
