Spy shots: Aston Martin DBS Volante at the Nürburgring

A while ago we showed you some spypics of the Aston Martin DBS Volante covered in snow, the pictures weren’t of the best quality either. Finally we’ve got some fine clear pictures of this Aston for you. This new DBS has been spotted near the Nürburgring, where else?

"We design everything we make with the ability to build a coupe and a roadster" This is said by John Walton, vice president of Aston Martin. They design every model with the capability to turn it into a roadster, so it was quite normal that there where a lot of speculations about a DBS Roadster. This time we show you some clear pictures of this wonderful piece of British engineering.

The coupe version, with a 6.0 liter V12 sprints in 4.3 seconds to 100 km/h. The topspeed of 302 km/h can be reached if you use all of the 517 horses that can be found under the bonnet. The Volante will probably be slightly slower in the sprint but a topspeed of around 300 km/h must be in reach. We can expect the car next year, we’ll just have to wait. In the mean time we would like to see a Dutch DBS coupe.
