You might expect this car to be called the Audi RS8. This just isn’t the case, according to Audi people will think it’s a four doors luxury car when they hear the name. The topspeed of this super-R8 will probably be limited at around 320 km/h. Besides the topspeed the performance of this car will be a little under the Gallardo LP650-4. So you can probably compare it with the “normal” Gallardo.



For about a year ago a burning R8 was spotted at the Ring. This one busted into flames due to cooling problems. These problems are now history, in the second quarter of 2009 we can expect the first official pictures of this supercar made by Audi.

The question remains if BMW or Mercedes will come with an answer for this brutal Audi. AMG is working on a supercar, this one will likely have some other competitors. But for now Germany delivers a lot of new nice information for car enthusiasts around the world!
