Lamborghini Murciélago SV

It’s going to happen, the special LP640, the grand finale of the Murciélago will be built. This extreme lightweight and rearwheel-driven Lamborghini will debut next year.

The first thing you’ll notice is the huge rear spoiler. This spoiler should create extra downforce, so you can take corners even faster. Rumours go that Lamborghini will use a mechanism similar to the Carrera GT, a spoiler which pops up at high speed. The V12 will be upgraded and produce for about 680 bhp. The interior will also be modified, a lot of lightweight materials will be used, but to decrease the weight dramatically the front differential will be removed. So more bhp and less weight on the car, this will make this Super Veloce the best LP640 so far.

The Murciélago LP640 SV will be a good successor in the SV-series. You could say that Lamborghini finally made another SV. The previous SV was the Diablo SV, built in 1995. This model was produced for three years, the Diablo itself for six years. If this line will continue we can probably enjoy the Murciélago for quite sometime.
