The race between a motorcycle and a car, probably a never ending battle. The English magazine Autocar tried to race a very fast Caterham and a fast Ducati. A cool race to watch and it also demonstrates the difference between two and four wheels.
When accelerating in a straight line, the bike is much faster. If you look at the speed in the corners and on the braking the R500 should win. It is very hard to find two opponents that can match up to each other. For example a Bugatti Veyron should easily beat a Yamaha R1. So you could say that you can’t compare a bike and a car, but despite these differences these are nice races and it's always a surprise to see who wins them!
