This wasn’t all the facelift news of today. The Maserati Quattroporte is on the market for a few years now. This stylish and fast sedan needs a facelift, well that’s the opinion of the guys at Maserati in Italy. This luxurious limousine will undergo some changes so it’ll be good to go for some years.
Let's start with the front of the car, you can see that the taped headlights look a bit like the lights on the GranTurismo. The grill of the Quattroporte will also look like its smaller brother, this automatically means that the bumper will also have to be changed. On the back of the car the only items that will probaly be modified are the lights and exhaust. Maserati has to follow the trends of today, so it’s almost a must to introduce LED taillights. Beside that we also see oval shaped exhausts. They look like the exhausts we can also find on the GranTurismo S. We love to hear the sound that these exhausts will produce!

Rumour has it that the engine will also be changed. It is almost certain that the current 4.2 litre V8 will be changed by an engine with direct fuel injection. This will probably the engine that also can be found in the new Ferrari California. You’ll get two main advantages, first the emission will be lower and second of all you’ll get more power out of the engine. The power will increase to little more than 400 bhp, so this luxurious limo will remain fast. During the Bologna carsalon this car will be introduced to the public, in 2009 the car will be available and can be found in the showroom. We can’t wait!
