Report: a visit to Lamborghini Las Vegas

Before we tell you about our trip to Lamborghini Las Vegas, we first want to tell you about the journey back to Holland. We are writing this text in the plane from New York to Madrid, let us explain. What are you going to do when you have 4000 Euro's and you don't want to spend it on booze, chilling at the beach and party's that last till the early morning? No, you search for something else, something that you will remind you for the rest of your life. We decided to go to the USA. Why the USA and for how long?

After a lot of discussion we made plans for the trip. New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami and the Bahamas were the destinations for 27 days. But why are we writing this text in the airplane? Well.. the plan was to go from Miami to New York and from New York to Amsterdam. At New York we should have a transfer-time of one hour and a half. But at Miami Airport we had a delay of two hours. So there goes our transfer.... When we arrived at New York we directly went to the Service-Desk to ask what we should do now. They already booked us on a flight to Madrid and via Madrid to Amsterdam. That would take us eight hours, but hey.. that's always better then waiting for seventeen hours for the next direct flight.

About all the nice cars we have seen in Miami and Las Vegas we tell you more later. We were in Las Vegas for three days. We heard about a Lamborghini Reventón that would be at Lamborghini Las Vegas. So we went there.

This wasn't an ordinary dealer. They were busy redecoration the building and it was almost finished. They only had to wait for some new cars. The dealership would be officially open in two weeks. In this building you could also find a very exclusive restaurant.

There were two beautiful ladies at the entrance. We told the girls what we were doing here and were we came from. But unfortunately nobody was allowed to enter this dealer whiteout an invitation. But at that moment a man was coming towards us and invited us in. His name was Robert Tatum, so we explaind the whole story again and told him about Autogespot.com. Robert told us he was the manager and he wanted to give us a tour in the dealership and told us that there was a Dutch supercar in the building.

First we made a short tour around the restaurant, this is one of the few restaurants with a terrace outside in Vegas. We had to go pass the bar to go to the showroom. The showroom and restaurant are separated by a glass wall. So when you are enjoying your dinner you can see al the nice cars. Down at the bar, five beautiful ladies were sitting and Robert asked if they could come with us to cheer up the pictures of the cars. Very nice!

The building contains of two floors. The restaurant is situated on the first floor. Also all new Lamborghini's are displayed here, like the LP640 and the Gallardo Superleggera.
Here are some specs if you don't remember them anymore.

Murciélago LP-640
V12
640 PK
330 Km/h
0-100 in 3.4 sec
€ 429.344

Gallardo Superleggera
V10
530PK
315 Km/h
0-100 in 3.8 sec
€ 272.928

But we did not see the Reventón, so we asked Robert. He told us that the Reventón has been here, but it only was here for one day. It was already sold before it arrived at the dealership. To bad..

Lets get down to the basement. This Lambo-dealer doesn't just sell Lamborghini's. They also sell other exclusive brands, like Saleen, Spyker and Bugatti. There were two Veyrons on their way to the dealership, but we did not see them anymore.

Next to the restaurant and the dealership is a merchandise shop. Unfortunately it was under construction. After a nice drink with the friendly manager Robert and the nice ladies, we left the building.

Robert said we should come back next year with our own models, so we can shoot some nice pictures. Anyone wants to join?

Robert Tatum, thank you very much for this wonderful experience!

Robin and Sjoerd
