Yesterday we were able to show you, in a Dutch article, the very first official pictures of the topless version of the 1001 bhp strong Veyron. We only expected to see a spotted one after the official reveal during the Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach. But what did we see this morning? The very first Veyron Grand Sport is already spotted!
Autogespot was the first to report of an open version of the Bugatti Veyron, this despite some announcements of Bugatti that they wouldn’t build one. April this year the Volkswagen Group, which Bugatti is part of, announced that they would build an open Veyron. Yesterday was announced that this car will be called the Veyron Grand Sport, the first one would be sold this month during the Pebble Beach event in the United States. Right now Autogespot has got another first, the very first Grand Sport is already spotted. Spotter Jonas Oberding saw the Grand Sport somewhere on the French island Corsica. Bugatti was probably working on an official photoshoot for the Grand Sport.
Of course you’ll take your camera out for every single Veyron, but it was pretty strange that the car was covered up immediatly by a lot of people in strange clothing. Despite the cover you can clearly see that this is a Grand Sport. Above the door you can clearly spot a seam where the roof hits the bodywork. A new set of rims is also produced for the Grand Sport. We can’t wait to see the official revael of this car. We will keep you posted!
