Spotted: Huet Brothers HB Special Limited Edition

One of the first questions which will come to mind is: doesn't this car belong at the site Klassiekergespot? This is not the case because this very special new timer is a lightweight sportcar based on the racing years of the 1950's. The special thing about it, is that this car is a Dutch product!



Dutch brothers Tino and Paul Huet, also known as the Huet Brothers, often organize classic car rallies. After a while they came up with the idea to design their own car, known as the HB Special. The HB Special is derived from the Triumph TR6. Because of the repeated use of aluminum and carbon fiber, this car weighs only 750kg. The car is powered by a 2.5 liter six cylinder engine, producing 180 bhp, which combined with the weight does not disappoint. These cars will be very exclusive because there are only twelve cars to be produced. And for the observant viewer among us, the old black plates are from a Triumph...
