The CLK, with code-name C206, still has the same platform of the C-class as basis, but it will be adapted to have a more sporty and a more luxurious characteristic. The nose will probably be fitted with four 'eyes', so you can distinguish the CLK from the C-class. The range of horsepowers is probably going from 200 to 428 hp for petrol-engines. Of course there are also going to be diesel-engines. Whether the current 320 CDI is going under the bonnet again or not, is not sure yet.



Obviously, we can expect an AMG-version. Under the bonnet, the well-known 6.2-litre V8 we know from other AMGs finds its place. This one will produce a lot more power but let's wait and see. In the beginning of 2009, the Audi A5 and the BMW 3-series coupé are getting serious competition of this car. In summer, the convertible will be revealed.
