Spot of the day: BMW Brabham BT 92

If you think of Brabham, the first thing that most likely pops into your mind is Formula 1. Year after year, the Brabham team competited in this branch of motorsports but nowadays, they also do aftermarket tuning. So, when we think of Brabham, we think of an awesome BMW M3 and of the spot of the day. Today in the spotlight: a BMW Bramham BT 92!

If you have 310.000 euros left, this tough Brabham could be on your driveway soon. For that amount of money, you’ll get a pumped up M3, a nice piece of art by Brabham. As you can see, some parts have been changed rigorously. Let’s sum it up for you: a new front-bumper, a new hood, new sideskirts, a new rear-bumper, two new central exhausts, a new boot, new rims –which don’t have spokes, but huge holes- and last but not least a huge widening to cope with the enormous tires. With that much rubber, it shouldn’t be hard to strap all 500 horses tightly to the road and the amount of grip must be gigantic. Sprinting to a hundred km/h only takes four seconds, and the top speed is about 300 km/h, which is pretty neat for this beautiful coupe. Unfortunately, Brabham will only produce 50 of them. This one has now been spotted twice (Dutch article). One down, 49 to go.
