The coming weeks Europe can get to know the last SLR that is going to be produced, the SLR Stirling Moss. A beautiful tribute to the seven year long production of the SLR McLaren. Only 75 examples are going to be produced and a select group of people was present last week in Sicily to secretly take place behind the wheel of this car.
Four of these bombs will come to the Netherlands. Quite a lot for the small amount of examples that are going to be produced. Jan Riedstra is one of the future owners of the SLR Stirling Moss. In a relaxed atmosphere the Dutch owners could get to know the car and put together a color that they like. McLaren also has the option of ordering the car without color. The car also doesn't have too many options. No radio or other luxurious gadgets. Only the air-condition will keep you warm in this open super car. Now we will have to wait for the first spotted version of this beautiful SLR. The production is probably going to start in June, so hopefully the first examples will be spotted next year.
