Finally! Here it is! A few days after popping the champagne-bottles to prelude the new year, we can reveal the spot of the year 2009. The final battle was between three supercars. A Maserati MC12, a Koenigsegg CCXR and a special Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster. Getting curious about the winner? Just keep reading and you’ll find out soon!

Eventually, the Zonda won by 88 votes, compared to the number two, the Koenigsegg CCXR! Congratulations, Volcano! From the beginning, it was certain that one of these three ‘major’ spots was going to be the spot of the year. The Maserati MC12 is an unique spot in an unfamiliar environment, the Koenigsegg is purely exotic and you will most likely never see one of those on the streets. Then finally the Zonda Cinque, a convertible edition of a supercar that was originally meant as a streetracer. With just five copies ever produced it is much more rare than the MC12, as well as the CCXR.Of course, we well have another spot of the year election next year.
