Hitting the roads with three Japanese and one Italian car

We needed a Ferrari F430 to become infected with the spotters virus. It all started when we were driving through the city one evening behind a Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG. We were enjoying the amazing sound and the awesome driving style of the driver when he all of a sudden stopped. He rolled down the window and asked us if we wanted to exchange telephone numbers. He promised to call us sometime so that we could meet up with some bizarre vehicles. On a nice, mild friday evening we were called and asked if we had time to come. When we arrived at the place where we had planned to meet, we were amazed to see a Ferrari F430 coming at us. This Ferrari was also our first spot on Autogespot.

The friend of the owner of this lovely Italian would come later in the evening with a Japanese toy. After we had walked around the Ferrari a few times and checked it out we heard the noise of a 4 cylinder with the awesome whistling noise of a turbo. We saw a brilliant Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 coming our way, that had been totally tuned by tuner HKS from Japan. It became an unforgettable evening which was filled with the awesome sound of the insane power of these exotics. After this evening we held contact with this privileged Asian, and had the opportunity to enjoy his Italian and Japanese exotics more often. We got to know the owner a little better in the following months, and found out that he thought of ordering a GTR. This also happened, the first GTR would make its debut in the city of eternal spring. This car had more to it than only potential as a nice addition to the existing car collection. It took many months before the car arrived. Finally the evening arrived when we were invited to see the car in real life. It was 10:30 p.m. when we were waiting and finally saw this beautiful car driving up. I had never seen a GTR before so I thought it was amazing to even be able to walk around it. My amazement was even greater when I sat down in the vehicle and was pushed in my chair while the car accelerated. The phenomenon of gravity clearly became reality. When I glanced at the speedometer, we were already doing 200 kilometers per hour! The owner handed over the keys to my brother so he could drive the GTR. We drove around for quite a while and enjoyed the lovely design of this car! After that we drove past McDonalds to get a drink.

The pictures where the cars are parked behind each other were taken at Green Lake Hotel. We were invited to come to the birthday party of his son, where at least 200 people were invited. After a while I went outside to get some nice pictures of these beautiful exotics. Later that evening we went to bring the cars back to his garage. It was amazing to drive through town with the windows rolled down, enjoying the stunning sound of the Ferrari and of course enjoying all the attention that we got from the people around us. When you have a chance to be around cars like these you also want to see which one performs the best. We knew that the Ferrari had no chance against the Evo tuned by HKS, but when the sensational GTR joined the group we were curious to see how the 585 bhp strong 4 cylinder would do against the 6 cylinder from Nissan.

A few weeks passed. It was a Tuesday evening when we got a phone call. We were told that our friends were driving with their cars on an isolated piece of road where there was no traffic. This is a road on the outskirts of the city that hasn't been opened yet. This results in a brand new piece of asphalt where no one comes. When we arrived we saw that there was also a Subaru from a friend, who dared to race the Ferrari. Even though the Subaru was nicely tuned it had no chance against the Ferrari. Finally the moment arrived where the two Japanese cars were lined up at the start line. It was crazy to step into the Evolution! We opened the windows and of course we had our cameras ready so we could record everything for later reference. Because I knew what the GTR could do I didn't expect too much from the Evolution, but I was proved wrong. Without too much problem the Evolution stayed in front of the GTR, up to the 100 kilometers per hour! As soon as the GTR started gaining on the Evolution, the Evolution didn't have a chance anymore. It was an evening that I wont forget very soon. What a fantastic opportunity to take pictures and enjoy these magnificent exotics. It was also time for some new tires for the Evolution so it was a nice chance to burn some rubber!

While making the group photo around the cars it wasn't really hard to choose which car we would sit in front of. We all decided to go sit in front of the Subaru, it doesn't really matter if that car isn't totally on the picture. A Subaru that usually stands out among cars, became nothing compared to these Italian and Japanese exotics.

To top it all of we have a few video fragments of this amazing experience.
