Spotted: Ferrari GG50 Concept

Monaco is the place to be when you are looking for a unique spot, or exotic. What do we think of the Maserati Birdcage. Today we saw a unique Ferrari that was made in honour of the 50 year existence of Giorgietto Giugiaro, the Ferrari GG50.

The car is based on the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. When the car was made it was important that it was fitted with a V12. It also had too look compact and must have been designed in the traditional Ferrari way. The result was a beautiful car fitted for four and exactly what Ferrari had in mind. It also seems as if Ferrari used the design later on with the 599 GTB Fiorano. The V12 in the GG50 has 540bhp, it gives the car sporty performance which you expect from a GT like this. We spotted this Ferrari yesterday evening in front of the casino when this, in Italy registered, car was showing of at the Casino square. We spotted this car again near the casino. There is only one example so it is pretty unique that we managed to take some pictures.
