This really is an ideal spot to tell you that carspotting just is cool. While the rest of the world showed you press photos from Audi, we from Autogespot can show you a photo of an Audi A1 that was spotted out in the open in Barcelona. Early March it will be under the spotlight in Geneva, but it’s a lot cooler to see this little car in the wild.

Diego Agon got the photo from a good friend of his and uploaded it on Autogespot. Of course this little car won’t be accepted as a sighting but it’s interesting to see how the car looks out there in the real world. The proportions look a lot different than on the press photo’s. It looks cool!

The A1 is a competitor of the Mini Cooper and according to us that could bring a lot of nice models in the future. Mini has the spectacular Cooper GP and why wouldn’t Audi develop a sporty model? It’s pretty certain Audi will develop a S1, an RS-version would be totally crazy!

At the moment you can choose from a 1.2 and a 1.4 liter petrol engine and a 1.6 liter diesel. Wouldn’t a 1.6 or 2.0 liter turbo version be a nice addition to this cool little car?
