Since Oakley Design started developing a tuned Ferrari 458 Italia, we have good contacts with the company. A few of the tuned cars from Oakley Design are also spotted, including the same Ferrari which has been in the news very often. Only seven copies of this care will be made, including six white copies. During the SEMA Show, which starts tomorrow, the tuner shows the first and only red one. We have already received exclusive footage before the car will be shown on the show floor tomorrow.
The car has just been completed in a workshop in Arizona and is made in just three days. This is as previously stated, the only Oakley Design Ferrari in Rosso Corsa Red. Currently there are only two white copies left for sale for those interested in this pretty customized Ferrari. These cars will be made at the start of next year. Oakley design changes the Ferrari at different points. Thus, the aerodynamics have been thoroughly changed to improve the downforce at high speeds and cornering. Despite the fact that Ferrari made a very good supercar, Oakley Design still managed to improve the car. The carbon fiber intakes at the light units and the front and rear spoiler for instance, help to improve the performance of the car. The carbon fiber side skirts also change the Ferrari a lot. What also stands out is the roof which is also replaced by a carbon fiber one. All the carbon fiber makes the car also much lighter. The red copy is perhaps more beautiful than the white six copies because the red contrasts a lot stronger with the black/grey carbon fiber. In addition, the Ferrari has a titanium exhaust system and an updated ECU which gives the car 37 Nm of torque extra. The extra 57 bhp on top of the original 570 bhp is probably even more impressive. This results in a sprint of only three seconds to 100 km/h and a top speed of more than 330 km/h.
