The year 2008 will start well. After the successful launch of the first left hand drive Invicta S1, on the AutoRAI 2007. The expectations for this version of the S1 are really high. A lot of people wanted to see this 4 seats version.
The exterior won’t change a lot, compared to the 2 seats version. The inside has to change, just for the fact that 2 extra seats are needed. The fuel tank will end up being smaller, 70 litres instead of the usual 100. The front seats will be placed a little more to the front of the car. This way Invicta creates enough space for the passengers. It’ll be obvious that this won’t be a spacious 4 seats sedan, but a large 2+2. This will be the ideal car to go to the golf course when you’re in a hurry, because it can also carry 2 complete golf bags.

Surprisingly the weight is also, almost, the same, this because the body hardly changed. Both version weigh around 1380 kg. Performance wise both the 2 and 4 seats version are the same.
If you’re thinking about ordering a 4 seats Invicta, you won’t have to wait a long time. All of the engine variants are directly available. You’ve got, engine wise, three options, 320, 420 and 600 bhp. No matter what you choose, fast you’ll go.
If you’re planning a trip to Brussels, go to Paleis 3, here Invicta will show the S1 600, this car has a supercharged 5.0 litre V8 engine under the bonnet. The power has been measured, 448 kW (600 bhp) and a torque of 768Nm.
Invicta Car Benelux will also show, for the first time in Belgium, the left hand drive Invicta S1. Due to the cooperation with Toyo Tires Benelux this car can be found on the stand of Toyo Tires, in Paleis 1.
Toyo Tires will present a high performance tire especially developed for Invicta: the Toyo Proxes T1-R.
Unfortunately we don’t know what the price of this beast will be.
