You can find expensive cars everywhere. In the Netherlands, the USA, and of course also in China. We found a remarkable movie on Youtube of a wedding which took place in Dalian, in the Northern part of China. The fact that the people drive a lot more SUV's than sportscars because of the cold climate is well known. But what is considered a lot? Take a look at the movie and guess how much Cayenne’s you see next to a few exotics.  

They are their closest competitors, Rolls-Royce and Bentley. With the arrival of the new Bentley Mulsanne and Rolls-Royce's Ghost, the competition between the English superpowers seems to burst once again. They both cost about the same, are huge, luxurious and still fast. In the following video, the two mastodons are compared to each other.  

Autogespot, regularly receives spots where the car has special or matching license plates. In many countries it is possible to get a personalized license plate on a car. This is not only fun for the owner but also for the bystanders with no knowledge of cars. In this episode of the series we see a lot of various spots and brands. We see two license plates that are not quite successful. The owner of an Aston Martin AMV8 Vantage thought to be funny by sticking N400 on his license plates. Also we have a Ferrari California where the license plates appear to be not fully successful.  

With a steady pace of 70 km/h we are driving on the highway. We easily switch to the third lane and in the car next to us we see a thumb rising. The only thing that really needs to happen is to floor the pedal and treat the driver next to us on the lovely sound of the two exhaust mufflers of the Mini. Why this reaction? A Mini is not that special actually… Though, the Mini in which we are driving, in Connaught Green with black rims and white striping, is a very remarkable car which gets a lot of attention. We are talking about the Mini John Cooper Works World Championship 50 Edition.  

On Autogespot, there are often huge contrasts in any form or shape. How about a Lamborghini Murciélago in Morocco? Also in this spot of the day from Holland, the contrasts are not hidden. And this time, it is not about the money, but the power!  

In a while you will surely have seen enough of Geneva but, through very reliable sources, we know that most of you can’t get enough of the show babes! The Aston Martin Rapide and the Porsche Panamera, two formidable competitors of each other. After years of development, Porsche and Aston Martin came around the same time with the news that they would bring out a saloon. But which is better now? At Hotel Des Indes at the Lange Voorhout in The Hague, nice cars are spotted regularly. The hotel is located in the stately city of The Hague surrounded by the many embassies located next to it. It is a very chic hotel that is very well known by the wealthy visitors, for years. Therefore, you can see expensive cars regularly in the small parking lot in front of the hotel. In this spot we see a Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 which, by lack of space, is parked in the middle of a parking lot.  

Also in Italy, the “green-nature” strikes down. Ferrari already showed a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano KERS and Maserati will come with hybrid technology in their designs too. Maserati will piggyback on the progress that Ferrari makes but they will also try to invent something by their selves.  

It would take weeks to cover everything, the amount of beautiful ladies which are present at a big international car show. But unfortunately we are a car website. You have been able to see two parts of the babes on the show. Here is part three!  

For this episode of the "matte colours"-series we were once again flooded with cars that are, most of the times, wrapped in matte black. In part twenty we don’t have any Porsches. Not because there were no wrapped Porsches uploaded, but because we gathered them in a special episode. We do see a lot of other brands such as Bentley and Wiesmann. In these series, it is all about spotting 'brothers' or 'twins'. Quite often, you find two identical cars (perhaps despite another colour) parked near each other. Recently, a track day was organized in the French city of Flaine. The special thing about this day was that the cars wouldn’t be driving on asphalt. No, the day was devoted to driving on snow and ice. A spectacular event, even with a normal car. However, there was a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, and that is not a particularly normal car. A car like the Ferrari 430 Scuderia will make a show out of a snowy terrain at any time. Two French spotters were present to make a beautiful photo-special of it.  

FAB Design is a tuning company like Lumma and Gemballa, companies that spice cars up a bit. Most people like this sort of tuning, but for some it is a true example of awfulness. FAB Design had already shown us multiple versions of the Mercedes-Benz SL-class, but at the Genva Motor Show, they tried yet another time to impress us. Their newest creation is called FAB Design SL Ultimate.  

A common series on Autogespot, but again we have found a couple of movies, the Lovely Sounds! A simple concept in which we show you the most fascinating soundtracks of classic and modern cars. Are you sick and tired of studying? Just crank up the volume and enjoy these lovely sounds!  

On Autogespot, we have the "Lovely Sounds" series. However, some movies just deserve to be shown separately. This is one of those movies. We see a BMW M3 E92, which is tuned by IND. A supercharger was attached to the V8 and the standard exhaust were replaced by Eisenmann exhausts. We know that Eisenmann exhausts make a lot of noise, but this is just a German masterpiece. Getting curious? Just check the movie!  

We all know Pininfarina as being the designers for many Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo cars. They designed important cars like the Ferrari 250 GT SWB, Alfa Romeo's 1955 Giulietta, the Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo and of course the Ferrari Enzo. Pininfarina is world famous and they recently added the Ferrari 458 Italia and Maserati GranCabrio. Okay, the name sucks of this particular Maserati but in this case it doesn't matter. Pininfarina designed a new car for Alfa Romeo and it's called the 2uettottanta. It's said to be the new Alfa Romeo Spider Concept.  

This is not the first time we've informed you about the HAMANN TYCOON EVO M. Yes, that's written in capitals on purpose, because the Germans like to think they are important and if you're using small letters, you won't get noticed. WRONG. This is one of those cars that you will definitely get your attention. We wrote an article on it when it was spotted in Dubai a month ago. We've already told you all about it so new live photos from the Geneva Motor Show are all that's left to say about this car.  

Another special Koenigsegg? Yes! The Platinuss, with double s, is basically a Koenigsegg CCXR but this particular car has been made specially for a wealthy customer in Brazil. Yes again, Brazil. There are people living there with a huge savings account. Due to strict emission regulations in Brazil Koenigsegg had to customize the car so it could use bio-ethanol.  

We've already shown you the press footage a couple of days ago but it's way more exiting to show you live photos from the 2010 Geneva Motor Show! Porsche has brought their 911 GT3 R, a hybrid race car. Yes hybrid in racing, we haven't seen that before. We're not hoping for too many Porsche hybrids because those normal petrol-fueled cars sound way better. By introducing the 911 GT3 R hybrid, Porsche has opened a new chapter in its history. It needed more than 20.000 victories in 45 years before Porsche started decided it was time to start a new era called 'green racing'.
