Sunday, everyone could see and enjoy the Top Gear episode full with English humour and with a wonderful test of the Caparo and the Aston Martin! The brute Caparo has finally been driven by Jeremy himself. The Stig was able to set a incredibly crazy time on the Top Gear track. Did you miss it? We've got the clips!  

Charge! Autocar has announced that Lamborghini is going to build SV-versions of the Murciélago as a last tribute to Lamborghini's biggest supercar. Lighter, faster, and even more brute! When this car is able to make the roads unsafe is not exactly known yet but it won't be any sooner than in 2009 probably.  

Testing. That's something you do on the Nürburgring. The Austrians at KTM were probably thinking the same with this X-Bow (pronounce as 'Crossbow'). These pictures were taken on and around Germany's most famous circuit. This X-Bow with the 2-litre turbo engine of Audi was recorded on tape by a visitor of Worldcarfans. In the standard version, the engine delivers 240 hp! Weighing 700 kilograms, it only takes 3,9 seconds to reach 100 km/h from standstill! That's Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche territory! But they're still safe as long as the 300 hp version isn't available yet...  

Yes! A new Aston Martin! On the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400 was revealed. To complete the party, a N400 Roadster will be available soon. Whoever wants to buy one, has to be fast because there are only going to build 240 of them.  

Mercedes is very busy sending its current models to the beauty parlour for some makeovers. Almost every single model has had or is having surgery, like the SL, SLK and E-class. Now, it's the CLK's turn. The new CLK is expected to be in the showrooms in 2009.

Just how lucky can one (old) boy get? This line out of a song by Cliff Richard from his early sixties repertoire jumps into my mind, when I look behind me. And see all those mesmerising curves, a feast to the eye on this rainy and sky clouded day. An array of colors is brightly contrasting with the dull grey skies, the bleak mountain pastures and the dark green patches of forrest on steep mountain slopes. The road has come to a sudden end. Walking or travelling on horseback are two of the few options left to venture further in this valley. Two parking lots on different levels form a cul-de-sac, so traffic is enabled to make a U-turn. The view from the terraces of the pittoreskly situated hotel must be almost pre-birth like near sunset on a sunny day. Behind the parking swirls a twenty meter or so wide bed of a mountain brook. At present only a small stream is running, along and around grey and brown stoney patches in the brookbed.

The 2008 Geneva Auto Show in March, that's where the face-lifted SL and SLK will probably be presented. Lately, spotter Japser came across this taped SL in Stuttgart and a couple of days ago, an article on Worldcarfans said that the SLK keeps its "F1-nose".  

As you know, the last Top Gear show was full of nice exotics as we have shown you a few hours ago with the race between the Veyron and the Jet Fighter. Now, we're going to show you the movie clip of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Smoke, screeching tyres, 0-100km/h in 3,5 seconds. Very nice. But isn't it nicer to drive around in a 275GTS? Plenty of luxury, no electric systems telling you what to do or helping you. Just simply push the throttle and there you go. Enough waiting, see for yourself.  

Sunday you could enjoy of a new episode of Top Gear. Just before the end of the show, they showed us a crazy drag race. A Bugatti Veyron against a Euro Jet Fighter. This brute machine of the RAF wanted to race the monstrous Veyron. For those who have missed the race or those who want to see it again, we found the movie clip. Big respect for the Veyron, who is racing against an aeroplane, faster than a bullet!  

Of every car, there is something special to find out. Like the Aston Martin Vanquish which could be bought as a 2+0 and a 2+2 version. Many people didn't know about this. Next to all the bad news around the forest fires in California, there're also nice pictures from that region. Like the following series of hot supercars. These movies give you a nice summer feeling again, by the way, and that's not unwelcome now the weather has all turned grey and cold in Holland!  

Everyone knows the Lamborghini Reventón. No better performances, a little bit pricy and already sold out. We saw a promotional movie of the Lamborghini Revetón on YouTube. Take a look for the movie!  

Last September, the BMW X6 Concept was revealed in Frankfurt. Now we can say that the exterior of this Sport Activity Coupe hasn't changed a bit or very little. Our photographer, Gawid, has been hanging around at the Ring last week where he has spotted this example.  

The German tuner Mansory rebuilds Rolls Royce's and Bentley's limousines for a long time, but also models of the British Aston Martin are not unknown. For example, they already have taken the Vanquish S and the DB9 Volante in their hands and now, it was time for the smallest of the family. The result: the Mansory Aston Martin Vantage V8. He looks really incredible! Unfortunately, they have left the 4.3-litre V8 untouched because it could easily have had more than 380 hp. What they did do is replacing the plate that covers the engine by red carbon-fibre.  

The attentive car fan knows that there's been a lot of rumours around the latest model of BMW nowadays. Is it the facelift of the Z4 or is it a completely new roadster? Now it is clear: it's the facelift. The large amount of spyshots is not over yet, because our Nürburg-spy Gawid has mailed us some pics of the new Z4. You can see the shape of the car quite clearly on these pics. But we probably have to wait till Geneva 2008 to the official reveal. It's clear that BMW has a gorgeous new model in the line-up.  

It's not the first, second or the third time we have something to tell about a possible baby-Ferrari. When someone was asked if he could remove the pictures of a Ferrari from the Internet, it was almost certain but now we know it for sure; a new Ferrari Dino is on the way! And what's more, the Ferrari will already be presented at the Geneva Auto-show in March.  

They're doing well, the people at AMG. The last couple of years, the models have become more impressive and especially much better than the previous models. Some photographers ran across a monstrous SL at the Ring!
