It's actually a shame that Aston Martin doesn't give the attention their prestigious projects deserve. This happened with the One-77 and the same happens with the Lagonda Taraf. This pearl should get way more attention. One of the 200 copies was spotted in Dubai.
It's only the third copy on Autogespot and with the limited production a lot of copies will probably end in private collections. The first generation of the Lagonda dates back to 1976. This new model again has a groundbreaking design where a lot of carbon fiber is used. Clearly recognizable in the design is the reference to the first generation with the modern design language. The Taraf is handbuilt. in Gaydon and is powered by a six liter V12 engine. Via a special VIP program the customers of Aston Martin get a special treatment when they order a Lagonda. Every car is completely configurated by the Q by Aston Martin program.
With the Lagonda Taraf, Aston Martin wants to focus on the production of bespoke projects. The realization of the One-77, V12 Zagato and CC110 Speed Concept also belong in this special category where Aston Martin takes it just a step further. With the DBX Concept, the car manufacturer already gives a small preview. Next to that, they're also working on a new hypercar project.
