The Geneva Motor Show was a bit too early for Lotus. The sports car manufacturer was present with the Lotus Evora 400. The show only just closed its doors and Lotus already unveils the Lotus Exige S Club Racer which would have looked great on their stand. Besides that, the Exige S Club Racer is hot and will satisfy most of the Lotus fans!
Lotus did the thing they always do. Less weight and improved aerodynamics. After a while with a 1.8 liter engine, they suddenly introduced a 3.5 liter V6 engine. Now Lotus comes with a version of the Exige S which is even more lightweight and faster which makes it even better on the track. The Exige S Club Racer also got a few aerodynamic features for more downforce and a better handling. In comparison with the Exige S, Lotus managed to reduce the weight with 15 kilograms which results in a total weight of 1.160 kilograms. Lotus doesn't talk about the power of the car so we guess that the engine still produces 345 hp.
