Ferrari 458 Speciale spotted in Monaco!

Ferrari 458 Speciale spotted in Monaco!

After all the copies with a lot of camouflage we can finally see the Ferrari 458 Speciale without any camouflage on Autogespot. It doesn’t surprise us that this Italian is spotted in Monaco, the city that’s all about cars.

The Ferrari 458 Speciale is the successor of the very successful 430 Scuderia. Where the 430 Scuderia had the same design as the F430, the 458 Speciale went a step further. The car has a completely new front with better aerodynamics. We don’t see the active spoilers on the front which we do see on the normal 458 Italia. The engineers of Ferrari also tried to make the car produce as much downforce as possible. Two big exhausts and a big diffuser immediately show you the cars sporty aspirations. The weight of the Speciale is reduced with 90 kilograms.

This version doesn’t produce 570 hp but even 605 hp! The power per liter of engine capacity is 135 hp per liter. This is the highest specific power of an atmospheric engine, ever. Combine this with the extra power, the lower weight and the sportier settings and you know that this is a very fast Ferrari. You’ll need only three seconds to reach 100 kph and in 9.1 seconds you’ve already reached 200 kph. Although we don’t think that this driver in Monaco will reach these speeds!
