Of course everybody already knew that Ferrari will come up a Spider version of the 488 GTB. There's always a big demand for such a model and the only question left is when Ferrari will introduce this model. Will they do this on the IAA in Frankfurt or do we need to wait a bit longer? Ferrari is already testing the 488 GTS. We expect that the car will get this name and it was now spotted in Maranello.
Last March we met the 488 GTB on the Geneva Motor Show. The second Ferrari with a turbo in just a short matter of time. The first model powered by a turbo engine for the first time in years was the California T. People were afraid the turbo would kill the sound of the car but we can now say that Ferrari managed to keep a great sound. The 488 GTS will be powered by the same turbo-powered V8 and will also produces 670 hp. The car will get the same roof construction as we know from the 458 Spider.
