Ferrari shows five Tailor-made special editions

The Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta isn't the only special edition honoring the 70 year anniversary of Ferrari in 2017. Ferrari Tailor Made will also add to the festivities by releasing 70 uniquely specced models. The first five cars of this series are already in Paris stealing the show.

To honour the 70 year anniversary a special emblem was developed that could be seen on the LaFerrari Aperta. The emblem can also be found on all other Tailormade models that were inspired by heritage.

The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta "The Stirling" was inspired by the 250 GT Berlinetta SWB. The winner of the Tourist Trophy in 1961 with Stirling Moss. It has the classic Blu Scuro racing livery with a horizontal white stripe.

The California T "The Steve McQueen" is inspired by the 1963 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso. One of the most elegant Ferraris ever built and it was gifted to the wife of the famous American actor Neile Adams. It has a brown bodywork and an interior of Camel leather with elegant stitching.

The most eye-catching model of all is the 488 Spider "The Green Jewel". It has a green livery inspired by the 365 P2 driven by the British David Piper Racing team. Piper was a well-known Ferrari privateer and drove the car over finish line in the nine hours of Kyalami in 1965 and 1966.
