Ferrari SP FFX on the Tokyo Motorshow

Ferrari SP FFX on the Tokyo Motorshow

The Special Projects by Ferrari are very popular in the Asian countries. Every now and then Ferrari mixes up the beautiful design of a Ferrari and mixes it with some Asian styling. This also happened with the SP FFX which was shown on the Tokyo Motor Show. We received some photos of this one-off!

The SP FFX is built based on the FF. Under the body the technicians of Ferrari didn't change anything. It's the bodywork that makes this Special Projects Ferrari so special. The car is a mix of the California, FF, 599 GTB Fiorano and some ideas of the owner. Personally I don't like the car. Even the interior is over the top. Luckily, this copy will be stored in a private collection. Or do you want to see this car on the streets?

Another Special Projects car on the show is the SP1. This is the first car that's build from the 'Portfolio' program and gets the name 'Special Project Number 1'. Portfolio is the coachbuild program by Ferrari, which gives the customers the opportunity to compose their Ferrari to their own style and wishes. You can choose between three designers, Fioravanti, Zagato and Pininfarina. These design studios will help you to 'customize' your Ferrari. Fioravanti made the design of the SP1, a car which is based on the F430.
