Instagram is a completely new way to reach thousands of people worldwide. On the Island Puerto Rico the page Puerto Rico Supercar hugely popular. A reason for Jorge, the founder, to organize the first Supercar Meeting. It was a great success.!
The main idea of the event was to celebrate the 10,000 followers of my Instagram page @supercarspuertorico, people were always asking me to do something like this. So I talked with my friend Alejandro Aredam from the detailing shop, BumperShield, to help me out with this. We started promoting the event one month before the day, but planning took over three weeks. We did Whatsapp groups with some of the owners of the cars to plan everything up, the day we did it was on August 16th. There were 3 rallys that day, one from the Western part of the island, one from the North and one from the South, of some of the cars that where going to be showcased. We had some unique cars on the island like the R34 GTT Skyline, a blue Charger Hellcat, an exact replica of "Eleanor", a right-hand-drive Supra, a Novitec F430 Spider, and as the main surprise of the show, the magnificent only-in-PR, Lamborghini Aventador that arrived later on the day. Everything went perfect, we had lot's of rain after midday, but people stayed and enjoyed the show. It was the best day of my life, everyone is saying it has been one of, or the best, autoshow/meet in Puerto Rico, and everything came out of a silly idea from a 17 year-old boy to celebrate 10k on Instagram...! I will like to thank everyone for the amazing support they have shown, specially you guys from Autogespot!
