Between all the lowered cars in Frankfurt there was one big surprise. This car was really big! It was the de Brabus B63S 700 6x6 which was literally a big surprise. Mercedes-Benz showd the G 63 AMG 6x6 earlier this year and Brabus had to tune this car. The B63S 700 6x6 is one of the most insane projects by Brabus, ever. Nobody would have thought that this car would be spotted on the streets, but still this happened. This car was now spotted in Düsseldorf.
Yearly, AMG will build 20 to 30 copies for a price of €379.000,- excluding taxes. That’s also excluded any extra options. Who is willing to buy such a crazy 6x6? You can count on the fact that the car will be popular in the Middle-East and the Russian market. The car won’t be available in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The suspension of the almost four thousand kilograms weighing mastodon is based on the current G 63 AMG but has a lot of improvements including new springs and dampers. The 6x6 doesn’t have conventional axles but this car has new portal axles. Another unique thing about the 6x6 are the three axles. Those three axles are independent and with a special system you can control the tire pressure for maximal grip.
Those who thought that 544 hp and 760 Nm of torque wasn’t enough, Brabus now made the 700 hp strong 6x6. Completely useless but incredibly fun to play with. Buying such a car isn’t a rational but a emotional decision. Everything about this car is unique. Brabus made the bodywork even more extreme by using carbon fiber. Under the hood, we find the real fireworks, the tuned V8. Two big turbos and some other adjustments make this engine produce 700 hp and 960 Nm of torque. Even with a weight of 3800 kilograms, the car is very fast. In only 7.4 seconds you’ll reach 100 kph and the top speed of the car is limited to 160 kph. A car this big and this extreme is something we won’t see very often in a city center. One important thing left, Brabus wants to have €482.231,-, excluding taxes for the B63S 700 6x6.
