Mercedes-Benz seems to have started a new rage with their CLS Shooting Brake. Out of nothing many coachbuilders and manufacturers come up with their own Shooting Brake. The Bertone Jet 2+2 is the estate-version of the Aston Martin Rapide. What you ask us they can take it into production immediately, what a beauty! Please welcome the Aston Martin Bertone Jet 2+2!
The refined lines of Aston Martin seem to be copied by the famous coachbuilders. You don’t have to be an expert to see that this is an Aston Martin, while it actually isn’t. To celebrate the hundred year anniversary of Aston Martin this brand gave birth to this model, maybe to wait for the reaction of the visitors of Geneva to see if it is worth producing the car in limited numbers. Under the bonnet we find the engine of the Rapide, not the Rapide S, so there is 470 bhp under the right foot of the driver. It would’ve been better if Bertone fitted the car with more power, because a car as special as this deserves an more powerful engine like the one from the Aston Martin Vanquish 2012.
