Alpina Automobiles is present on the Geneva Motor Show, like every year. This year, they show us the completely new Alpina B3, based on the BMW 335i. The BMW logos are all gone, this is an Alpina which will be registered as one too. This competitor of the BMW M3 show us that you can combine performance and elegance.
The Alpina B3 has a tri-turbo six-cylinder in the front which produces 420 hp. Alpina has the engine linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. For real sporty performance you may need to choose for the M3, but the B3 is definitely not a slow car. The sprint to 100 kph takes 4.2 seconds and the top speed of the car is 305 kph.
The looks of the Alpina are quite predictable. At the front, we see the characteristic Alpina front bumper. Other optical adjustments are the exhaust, rear spoiler, Alpina striping and beautiful Alpina wheels, now we just have to wait before the first copy is spotted!
