Geneva 2014: Ermini Seiottosei

Almost every year we see a new company that tries to win the hearts of the visitors on the Geneva Motor Show. This year we see Ermini Seiottosei, a new brand that refers to the past to explain their sporty character. When we saw this model we were immediately interested but the specifications make us even more interested in this car!

First of all, not many lightweight cars are built nowadays. The Ermini weighs only 686 kilograms and that’s very rare. This is reflected in the construction of the car. The car looks track-ready and we won’t advice you to use this car as your daily ride.

The car is fitted with a Renault engine. The two liter four-cylinder engine which we also find in the Megan RS, but also in the 45 AMG series of Mercedes-Benz. The car produces up to 315 hp and that’s quite a lot of power for such a lightweight car. Sprinting from zero to 100 kph will take 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 270 kph is not something to be ashamed of.

We won’t withhold you of a short history lesson about Ermini Seiottosei. The brand already existed before, between 1946 and 1962 they built cars which competed in big races like the Targa Florio and the more famous Mille Miglia until 1955. In 2007, the was revived and in 2012 they came with the first sketches of the car. Now, in 2014, the development is ready and we can finally meet the production model. Do you think this car is a good alternative for cars like the Radical?
