Geneva 2014: Ferrari California T

If there was one neglected model by Ferrari in the past few years it was the California. It’s about time for an update and on the Geneva Motor Show we find the renewed California. It’s as exciting as the scoop of the LaFerrari last year, but we were really looking forward to this car. We already knew that the car would have similarities with the other models but we didn’t expect to see so much lines from the ‘old’ California. Time to take a closer look under the hood.

The previous generation was no picnic. When you floored the pedal the car sprinted to 100 kph in only four seconds together with a lovely sound. But the new California T got quite some adjustments under the hood. It’s the first Ferrari V8 with two turbos and it produces up to 560 hp. That’s an extra 70 hp compared with the previous generation. Sprinting to 100 kph takes 3.6 seconds and the top speed is now 316 kph. Quite a performance for a car which is seen as the baby-Ferrari. The car will probably soon lose this status. Do you like the new looks as much as we do?
