Geneva 2014: Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II

Not a revolution but an evolution. The cheaper Rolls-Royce which is available since 2009 was long time unaltered. In Geneva, the British show us a small facelift which prolongs the lifetime of the car with a couple of years.

Rolls-Royce speaks of an evolutionary design which makes the Ghost Series II even more timeless. The exterior got several adjustments. The LED headlights are redesigned and got daytime running lights. The frontbumpers are redesigned and wider for a more dynamic look. On the hood, there’s a so-called ‘wake-channel’ which, together with the shingled Spirit of Ecstasy, highlights the more dynamic look of the Ghost. New designed wheels and new colours offer the Rolls-Royce customers more options for their Ghost.

The interior got some minor adjustments. New seats in the front have a better adjustability and the seats in the back are also improved. In the interior, the A and C styles can be refurbished with leather and Rolls-Royce added two new Bespoke options. These options are two new types of wood, paldao and special walnut wood named Walnut Burr Crossband.

New technical features are an improved suspension and every Ghost will be equipped with Satellite Aided Transmissen. This GPS system will adjust the suspension to the road the Ghost is driving on.
