Geneva 2015: Ferrari Sergio

In 2013, Sergio Pininfarina passed away at the age of 85. Sergio is seen as one of the best developers since the introduction of the first car. As an homage after his passing a special one-off is developed, the Pininfarina Sergio Concept. In Geneva, the first copy in the colour Giallo is shown.

The Sergio is developed by Pininfarina and only six copies of this impressive limited edition roadster are being build. The name Sergio refers to Sergio Pininfarina and is an ode to the sixty years of cooperation between the designing company and Ferrari.

The Ferrari Sergio is based on the Ferrari 458 Spider and still has its technological highlights, just as the functional elements of the interior. The Sergio is powered by the newest, 605 hp strong, atmospheric 4.497 cc V8 which won the title 'International Engine of the Year' for three times in a row. The 458 Speciale is also powered by this engine. This engine makes you sprint to 100 kph in just three seconds and results in a top speed of over 300 kph.
