Geneva 2015: Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman

Mercedes celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. On the Geneva Motor Show they will celebrate this with the introduction of an extremely long and new Pullman. Made for the very rich who don’t like a Rolls-Royce Phantom and need a lot of room in the back of the car.

The old Maybach was very popular among artists in the United States. This new Pullman will not only attract customers from the business sector. This is the second model by Mercedes-Maybach after the introduction of the normal version, with a length of 5.5 meter. This 6.5 meter long limousine is even longer!

In the back, the Pullman has four seats where you face each other, this creates a lounge for the passengers. Customers can also order only two seats which leaves a lot of room for a television. The Maybach Pullman offers customers more options and a number of unique colours specifically for the Pullman. Just like the old Maybach you can get every option you can think of as long as you pay enough money. The Pullman won’t reach the level of a Bespoke Rolls-Royce. The Pullman is more like a business limousine while the Rolls-Royce is way more traditional.

Mercedes-Maybach don’t offer that much engines, there’s only one. The V12 biturbo engine in the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman produces 540 hp and 830 Nm of torque from 1.900 rpm. Mercedes-Maybach hasn’t announced the performance yet but that’s not necessary with such a classy limousine. The price starts at half a million Euros and the first deliveries of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman will take place in early 2016.
