German technology with Italian styling: Studiotorino Moncenisio

Less than a year ago, the Italian coachbuilder announced the StudioTorino Moncenisio. Meanwhile, the car is ready and it's the most expensive Porsche Cayman ever.

Moncenisio is a town in the Italian province Torino with only 50 inhabitants. Near this village, the first 'Uphill race' took place in 1902. The Italians paired their name with this unique Porsche Cayman of which only nineteen copies will be made. This copy will go to a museum. The price? €145.000,- excluding your own Porsche Cayman.

The design is full of beautiful details and the back of the car is the most exciting. The car doesn't have the big rear window anymore and it also has a completely new bodywork. The entire bodywork of the Cayman is renewed and made out of carbon fiber. The styling of the Studiotorino Moncenisio comes from designer Daniele Gaglione. He was inspired by the Porsche Type 904 and the Studiotorino RK Coupé from 2006. The colour is inspired by the blue sky and the small lake at the pass. Every customer can compose their own Moncenisio so this means that you can also choose bare carbon fiber instead of this blue colour.

And what now? Studiotorino expects to sell at least nineteen copies and meanwhile they're working on their next project, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé Shooting Brake. This promises to be just as spectacular!
